The Udzungwa Elephant Project is dedicated to the struggle to defeat elephant poaching in southern Tanzania, and across Africa. We also monitor and study the ecology and behaviour of elephants in response to poaching, identify important elephant corridors, and seek ways of reducing conflict between farmers and elephants in the Udzungwa Mountains of Tanzania.
