Did you know red wine can also be green?
This month’s featured partner is Romero & Miller, a team of wine producers who take great pride in their 100 percent organic Spanish red wine. The company’s founders, Eric Miller and Ramon Romero, launched Romero & Miller in 2007 with the mission to create a red wine that can also be “green.” Made from earth-friendly organic farming practices, Romero and Miller’s Earth 3.0 wines are delicious and naturally produced without any synthetic chemicals.
Romero and Miller are experts in the organic grape growing process. Grapes for Earth 3.0 wines are grown naturally as they were before synthetic chemicals were created. The vines are placed in healthy, favorable soils and are exhaustively cared for. Frequent weeding ensures that no chemicals are needed and the only addition to the vines is water. Grapes are chosen that will successfully shape the resulting wine while the natural aroma and color of the grapes are also preserved. Fewer sulfites are used which is especially beneficial to those with sensitive allergies. When drinking Earth 3.0, one can be sure that the wine is trusted while also exquisitely flavorful.

Romero & Miller are committed to giving a portion of Earth 3.0’s profits to support ARC’s conservation efforts, and they proudly feature ARC’s logo on each bottle of Earth 3.0 to remind people of this commitment. Since the launch of this partnership in 2009, Romero & Miller’s financial support has allowed ARC to plant an additional 12,000 trees as part of its community nursery program! Many of ARC’s supporters have also had the opportunity to try one of Earth 3.0’s three red wines – Tempranillo, Tempranillo-Cabernet Sauvignon, and Reserva – at the Annual Artists for Africa benefit the past two years.
